City Hunter is the original manuscript of the famous novel by Tsukasa Hojo's work in Japan. Because it became public that Korea will make the first maker of this story into a drama, "City Hunter" has received worldwide attention. "City Hunter" switch settings from Tokyo Seoul 1980 to 2011, and according to the structure of the original story, the protagonist becomes the hunter of the city and the characters develop while solving the case satisfactorily.

Lee Yoon Sung (played by Lee Min Ho) worked at the Blue House, the National Communications Network Team and received a Ph.D. at MIT Kim Na Na (played by Park Min Young), a former judo athlete who worked as guards for the residence of the President, Blue House. Kim Na Na will eventually be involved in a love triangle with Lee Yoon Sung Joon Hyuk Lee and attorney (played by Kim Young Joo). Drama also marks the acting debut Goo Ha Ra and he will play the role of the President's daughter, Da Hye Choi.
